Pear Pomegranate Agua Fresca
This refreshing agua fresca is perfect when you want a cool beverage that’s fruity, colorful, and super easy. Inspired by the traditional Mexican and Central American drinks made with fresh fruit and water, this version blends juicy pears with a touch of honey, then stirs in bright pomegranate juice, fresh orange slices, and a hint of cinnamon. Let it chill so the flavors can mingle, then pour it over ice and add a splash of sparkling water if you like a bit of fizz. It’s the kind of crowd-friendly drink you’ll want to keep in the fridge all week.

Preparation
- Peel half of the pears, and remove the stems. Slice the flesh away from the cores, and discard the cores.
- Place the sliced pears, water, and honey in a blender, and process until very smooth, about 2 minutes. (Alternatively, you can strain the blended pear mixture through a fine mesh strainer for a smoother texture.)
- Place the orange slices and cinnamon stick in a 2-quart pitcher. Pour the blended pear mixture into the pitcher, and stir in the pomegranate juice. Refrigerate for 1–3 hours to let the flavors infuse.
- Serve over ice in glasses; optionally, top each glass with a splash of sparkling water and a few pomegranate seeds for garnish.
- Enjoy!
