Nutella Ghost Pies

Ingredients
for 9 servings
- 2 frozen puff pastry sheets, (from 1 [17.3-ounce] package), thawed
- ½ cup nutella, or more to taste
- 1 large egg, beaten
- ¼ cup powdered sugar, or more to taste

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
- Lay 1 puff pastry sheet flat on a work surface, and spread the top with Nutella to the edges.
- Place the second puff pastry sheet on top, and gently press down.
- Using a ghost cookie cutter, cut out 9 ghost shapes from the layered pastry. Arrange the ghosts evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of the ghosts evenly with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the ghosts are golden brown. Remove from the oven, and sprinkle evenly with the powdered sugar.
