Layers of rich chocolate and smooth vanilla pudding swirled together make every bite taste like childhood summer on a stick. With just a few pantry staples, a freezer, and a little patience, the result is a cold, dreamy treat that’s way better than store-bought. These are perfect for hot days, simple desserts, or a fun kitchen project with kids!

Preparation

  1. Whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of the milk in a medium bowl until thick and smooth. Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and remaining 2 cups milk in a separate medium bowl.
  2. Gently fold 1 cup of the whipped topping into the chocolate pudding until light and airy. Fold the remaining 1 cup whipped topping into the vanilla pudding.
  3. Pour the pudding mixtures evenly into 12 (3-ounce) popsicle molds, alternating the vanilla and chocolate pudding every inch to create a swirl; optionally, you can gently swirl the different colors together using a wooden skewer. Insert a popsicle stick into each mold. Freeze until firm, at least 6 hours or up to 12 hours. The popsicles will keep in the freezer for up to 1 month.
  4. To release each frozen popsicle, run the mold under warm water for a few seconds.
  5. Enjoy!
