Ingredients

for 4 serving

Broccolini:

  • 2 bunches fresh broccolinis
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ lemon, sliced

Potatoes:

  • 1 lb baby gold potatoes, quartered
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoons italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 fresh or dried bay leaves (fresh is best if you can find it)s

Grilled Sausage:

  • 2 lb your favorite sausage

Preparation

  1. Tear 5 sheets (about 18 inches each) of aluminum foil, and set aside. Preheat the grill to medium heat (400°F–500°F).
  2. Make the broccolini: Place 1 bunch of broccolini each on 1 of the foil sheets. Drizzle evenly with the oil, and toss together evenly with the garlic, salt, and pepper. Top evenly with the lemon slices, and close the foil tightly. Set aside.
  3. Make the potatoes: Separate your potato pieces evenly into 3 piles. Place each pile on a foil sheet. Drizzle evenly with the oil, and sprinkle evenly with the Italian seasoning and salt. Top each with a garlic clove and a bay leaf. Close the aluminum foil tightly. Set aside.
  4. Place all your aluminum foil packs on the grill. Grill the broccolini, covered, for 10 minutes and your potatoes until fork-tender, about 20 minutes. Remove from the grill.
  5. While the foil packs cook, make the grilled sausages: Place the sausages on unoiled grill grates. Grill the sausages for 12–15 minutes total, until the sausage reaches 165°F, turning the sausages every 5 minutes to cook evenly. Remove from the grill, and let rest for 10 minutes. Serve.
