Ingredients

for 12 servings

  • 6 roma tomatoes
  • 2 jalapeñoes
  • 1 serrano pepper
  • 1 small white onion
  • 1 garlic head
  • ½ cilantro bunch
  • 1 tablespoon tomato-flavored chicken bouillon

Preparation

  1. Preheat a gas grill to high heat.
  2. Carefully add the tomatoes, jalapenos, serrano, onion and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes per side, until soft and charred.
  3. Set aside to cool. Once cooled, remove the stems from the peppers, the skins from the onion and squeeze out garlic.
  4. To a blender, add roasted tomatoes, peppers, onion, garlic, fresh cilantro, and chicken bouillon and blend until desired consistency.
  5. Serve with tacos, chips or your favorite grilled meats. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.
