- ½ cup yellow candy melts, divided
- 2 white chocolate chips
- 1 cup store-bought popped popcorn
- 1 jumbo blueberry, cut in half
- 1 round vanilla wafer cookie
- 2 miniature pink fruit-flavored taffy candies
- 1 rope red licorice (from 1 [14-ounce] package)
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 cups green foil-wrapped chocolate kisses
Spaghetti:
- ½ cup premade pancake batter
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
For Serving:
- Assorted holiday candy
- candy cane
- candy corn
- sugar cookie
- maple syrup
Preparation
- Make the elf: Cut an 8-inch round out of the rice crispy sheet, and place it just below the center of a large serving platter. Use the green candy-coated chocolates and all but 3 of the yellow candy melts to form the hat. Line the brim with popped popcorn for the hair. For the eyes, press the white chocolate chips (upside down) into the blueberry halves, and place them on the face. Cut the wafer cookie in half for the nose (reserve the other half for another use). Cut out 2 (about 1-inch) circles from the pink taffy for the cheeks. Slice the red licorice rope into 3 pieces to make the mouth. For the body, arrange the marshmallows into 2 triangle-shaped lapels, then use green-wrapped candies to complete the Elf’s suit. Finish by adding the remaining 3 yellow candy melts down the center for the buttons.
- Make the spaghetti: Pour the pancake batter into a squeeze bottle, then pipe long, thin strands onto an electric griddle over low heat. Cook for 2–3 minutes, until the strands are golden and easily lift from the surface. Using a spatula, transfer them to a small bowl. Repeat with the remaining batter. Dollop the jam on top of the spaghetti to look like sauce.
- Fill out the board with your favorite holiday candy and cookies — be sure to include candy canes and candy corn. Serve the maple syrup on the side of the spaghetti.
- Enjoy!
