Ingredients

for 15 chocolates

  • 1 4-ounce bar chocolate bar, or ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ tablespoon coconut oil
  • licorice, of choice (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • hemp seed, for garnish (or toppings of choice)
  • shredded coconut, for garnish (or toppings of choice)
  • sliced almond, for garnish (or toppings of choice)

Preparation

  1. Add chocolate and coconut oil to a small saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted chocolate to the bottom of an ice cube tray, filling each compartment about one-quarter full.
  3. Add licorice to each compartment and top with remaining melted chocolate until the licorice is covered.
  4. Sprinkle hemp seeds, shredded coconut, sliced almonds, or toppings of choice over the top.
  5. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
