Bacon-Wrapped Cranberry Meatballs

With only five ingredients, not including water, these bacon-wrapped bites are the easiest appetizer for Thanksgiving. Frozen meatballs are wrapped in bacon, then baked until crispy. The little bites are topped with a spoonful of gravy, a dollop of cranberry sauce, and a sprig of rosemary to achieve ultimate Thanksgiving flavors.

Ingredients

for 4 servings

  • 12 frozen precooked meatballs
  • 6 thick-cut bacons, cut in half lengthwise
  • 1 (0.87-ounce) McCormick® Turkey Gravy mix
  • ¾ cup water
  • ⅓ cup cranberry sauce, warmed
  • fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Wrap the meatballs in the bacon strips, and arrange evenly on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked through and crispy.
  2. Over medium heat, whisk together the McCormick® Turkey Gravy mix and water in a small sauce pot until the gravy is smooth. Simmer for 1 minute until slightly thickened. Keep warm until ready to use.
  3. Remove the meatballs from the oven, and brush all over with the gravy. Dollop the cranberry sauce on top, and garnish with rosemary. Add toothpicks, and serve.
