"I Still Crave It": 19 School Lunches That Were Straight-Up Gourmet To Our 10-Year-Old Brains

When you think about your favorite school lunches, what immediately comes to mind? Well, I asked Tasty readers about the cafeteria foods that made their former five-year-old hearts skip a beat, and their answers are making me seriously nostalgic. Here's what they said:

1. "I loved it when they served mashed potatoes and gravy. I would eat the inside out of the dinner roll/bun and then shove all the mashed potatoes and gravy into it and make a sandwich pocket out of it. It was so delicious!"
