Bethenny Frankel Just Dropped Another "Supermodel" Recipe, And I'm Here To Give You My Totally Honest Review Of It

Hint: It's absolutely B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

Ah, Bethenny Frankel. She's not just an OG star of The Real Housewives. She's also a TikTok extraordinaire — whether I intentionally click on her page or if she pops up on my FYP (hey, girl!), I know I can rely on her to post a wild new food or drink concoction.

This year, she's been sharing what she calls "Supermodel Snacks," some of her uniquely Bethenny creations. One of her recent videos shows her making what she calls a "Super Model Frothy Banana Latte."

The iced coffee recipe is made in a shaker with several ingredients, including oat milk, cold foam, and pumpkin spice.

However, the real kicker is banana extract, an ingredient I've never seen in a coffee recipe before.

Once Bethenny has added all liquid ingredients, she aggressively shakes them together.

Finally, she pours the coffee into a glass with new ice, topping the drink with cold foam and pumpkin spice. "Good God, woman," Bethenny exclaims when trying the finished coffee.

The video has received over 200,000 views, with enthusiastic reactions.

So, is Bethenny onto something?! I decided to recreate it to find out.

Here's everything you need to make Bethenny's iced latte.

Various coffee products, including creamers, cold brew, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and sweetener, arranged on a marble surface

Following Bethenny's instructions, I started by putting ice into a cocktail shaker.

I then filled the shaker about two-thirds of the way full with cold brew.

Next up: oat milk.

Then, some creamer.

Then, the sweetener.

And lastly, a bit of banana extract.

Following Bethenny's example, it was time to shake like my life depended on it.

Once I had shaken to my heart's content, I poured the drink into a glass with fresh ice.

I couldn't forget the cold foam!

Finally, I sprinkled the top of the drink with pumpkin spice.

So, what's the verdict? While I didn't say "Good God, woman," upon tasting, 'Frankel'-y, I did really like it. The iced latte tasted like vanilla banana marshmallow, and I happily sipped it down as my morning coffee.

The banana extract was the riskiest ingredient here, but it paid off; it tasted like Laffy Taffy! I was glad that the flavor wasn't too strong. The recipe only uses a small amount, and the pumpkin spice helps provide some contrast in flavor. However, I wouldn't recommend this latte if you don't already like banana flavor. It's not Magnolia Bakery's Banana Pudding-level good.

I can't say I noticed a change in texture from using a cocktail shaker, so don't worry if you don't have one. But hey, it was fun!

So, would I make this again? I'll admit I'm not as die-hard a banana-lover as, say, Gwen Stefani. So, I wouldn't go out of my way to get banana extract again to make it. However, since I still have all the drink ingredients, heck yeah, I'll be whipping up another "Super Model Latte" soon.
